Fans of true wireless headphones have been in a state of mind lately, looking at the leaks of Sony’s upcoming flagship noise-canceling headphones. From what we’ve seen so far, they seem like the design to beat, improving in just about every way the well-received predecessor model. The latest leak shows the price of the buds in euros, and assuming it’s correct, it’s … a lot.

The Walkman Blog, which specializes in Sony audio equipment, took some screenshots of a Slovakian online store that had a listing of the WF-1000XM4. According to the listing, which contained a full description of the headphones in black and gray models, they will cost € 279.90. That’s around $ 340 US, and given the European price of Sony’s WH-1000XM4, a price of $ 350 would be about right.

According to previous leaks including full release materials, upgraded WF-1000XM4 headphones feature new physical design and new sound processor, significantly improved battery life, much smaller body, better quality call in its microphones, basic water resistance, bone conduction sensors, 360 degree sound and adaptive sound control for direct listening to conversations or announcements.

In short, those tiny heads are practically overflowing with technology and functionality – so maybe a high asking price is justified. The official release should be pretty much any day now.
